Job description

Proud to be partnering with the NHS for the hire for one of the most pivotal programmes of change in the UK right now. We are looking for a seasoned Change & Transformation professional to help them implement a new Oracle ERP. You will be managing a team, designing the roadmap, building, testing and deploying it.

You must be confident operating at a director level, ideally from a consulting background, with a proven track record delivering large-scale ERP transformations. This is a permanent role, requiring presence a few days a week in Nottingham. The salary is up to £121,789, rising to £142,281 over three years. The package includes a bonus scheme, 12% employer pension, and 38 days annual leave.

Additionally, the role involves being the Director of Products & Platforms within the Data and Technology leadership team during an exciting transformation period. The focus is on modernising the NHS logistics network and IT estate through a complex, multi-year programme aimed at delivering £1 billion in savings and transforming all business aspects.

The programme is transitioning to a Service Integration And Management (SIAM) model - OneIT - led by an internal team with four service providers covering Service Integration, Helpdesk, Modern Workplace, Infrastructure, Networks, Application Development, Support, Management, and Cyber Security.

This is a critical phase as they embed a major transformation and a new approach to IT delivery. The role involves leading the technical design and delivery of the ERP solution, working with business stakeholders and IT service providers. You will lead application modernisation across Digital, Operations, Corporate Apps, Infrastructure, and Data & Analytics, promoting SaaS adoption, reducing technical debt, and transitioning to product-based delivery to maximize ROI.

You will ensure support and maintenance of existing systems, uphold architecture, security, and design standards, and foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted business partner.
