The role:

We are hiring a Director of Product to oversee user journeys for temporary insurance across RVU's brands. As the product leader, you will innovate and iterate our critical consumer-facing journeys.

You will lead our Product team (currently three product owners) to deliver exceptional journeys and features, enabling consumers to make informed decisions while capturing and analyzing data to drive product development.

You will collaborate with the Tempcover SLT and your team to define and execute the vision and strategy for our customer value proposition and product features. Daily tasks include roadmap prioritization, cross-team collaboration, and future planning to lead product strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Redesign journeys across our temporary insurance products and brands.
  • Develop a differentiated customer proposition in collaboration with the business.
  • Gain deep understanding of customer needs using data and share insights across the organization.
  • Align stakeholders, prioritize features, and coordinate schedules with teams to deliver high-quality experiences.
  • Promote a culture of testing, data-driven decisions, and accountability.
  • Lead performance reviews and update stakeholders on progress, priorities, and schedules.
  • Facilitate communication between the product team and the wider organization.
  • Work with the Customer Experience team to leverage customer insights.
Requirements

  • Proven leadership in product management with successful team development.
  • Experience scaling digital products that deliver user value and meet business goals.
  • Expertise in user experience and A/B testing to find product/market fit.
  • Ability to create structure from ambiguity with a pragmatic, collaborative attitude.
  • Skill in balancing immediate needs with future opportunities.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and tailoring messages.
