Job summary

ASTRAZENECA UK LIMITED is seeking a Director of Product Quality to lead strategy and execution of quality across the full product lifecycle. This role will influence a high-profile franchise, drive Lean initiatives, and enable faster, safer medicines to patients.

The candidate will coordinate with global functions, manage regulatory interactions, and mentor a cross-functional quality team in a fast-paced, science-led environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical QA across manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience engaging with global regulatory bodies (ICH, FDA, EMA, MHRA).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution of quality across the full product lifecycle.
• Represent Quality on global teams and govern the Flu Franchise.
• Drive Lean improvements and data-driven decision making.
• Review regulatory filings to ensure global compliance.
• Mentor the Quality Product Team and foster accountability.
