We are seeking an exceptional people leader to join our Board as Director of People and Organisational Development. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing workforce, education, training, and organisational development interventions to support our Trust in delivering our 28 Promises.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-performing Deputy Director of People ready for their first Executive role, or an experienced Director of People and Organisational Development seeking a rewarding lateral move into a values-driven Trust.

Main duties of the job
  • Support delivery of our promises, including outstanding educational offers, promoting inclusion and diversity.
  • Champion partnerships with patients and citizens, including peer support workers and unpaid carers.
  • Lead the development of senior leaders within our Operating Model to deliver our promises.
  • Support the maturation of our directorate structure for strategic leadership.
  • Ensure that the Board and leadership embody our six core values and demonstrate them in practice.
