Job description

Position Overview:

Working closely with the Chief People Officer and the HR senior leadership team, the successful candidate will contribute to implementing the People Strategy by translating its aims and objectives into clear policies and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the nominated deputy for the Chief People Officer.
  2. Primary responsibility for Employee Relations (via the Business Partner Team), Occupational Health, Recruitment and Selection, and Relocation and Immigration.
  3. Act as HR Lead for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, ensuring HR-related actions are aligned with and support the University EDI plan.
  4. Provide effective leadership, direction, and management to teams within their area of responsibility.
  5. Lead the provision of HR and employee relations services across the University.
