Job summary

The post holder will lead the operational delivery of the PSIRF learning responses across the Trust, ensuring timely outputs that translate learning into improvements in patient care.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Quality for Patient Safety and Risk, you will oversee PSIRP alignment, staff capacity, and the governance of incidents from reporting through to closure, with a focus on data quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient safety governance and risk management.
• Strong analytical and digital skills.
• Ability to use data systems and BI tools to provide assurance and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of learning responses under PSIRF, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with the Associate Director of Quality for Patient Safety and Risk to align PSIRP with national PSIRF requirements.
• Oversee governance of learning responses and investigations, ensuring learning is identified and actions monitored to completion.
• Ensure outputs are high quality, evidence-based, and aligned with PSIRP and safety strategy.
