A long-established organisation in the logistics and supply chain sector is seeking a commercially focused and operationally strong Operations Director to lead its freight and logistics operations. With strong reputation for service excellence, the company supports a wide range of clients through its national distribution infrastructure and global freight forwarding capabilities.

The Role

This is a strategic senior leadership role with responsibility for overseeing end-to-end operations including freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, and domestic transport. The Operations Director will play a key role in scaling the business, enhancing operational performance, and introducing sustainable, data-led solutions that support long-term commercial growth.

Key accountabilities include leading high-performing operational teams, improving cost efficiency and customer service, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory frameworks.
