Job summary

Stantec is recruiting Principal and Senior Principal Mechanical Engineers to lead technical delivery for major UK water projects. You will own the technical direction, shape engineering solutions and build trusted client relationships across AMP8 programmes.

You will influence project strategy, mentor teams and help grow our mechanical capability within a multidisciplinary environment, enabling resilient, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience as Principal or Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer in the UK water sector.
• Ability to own technical delivery and influence project strategy.
• Strong client relationship and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery on complex water projects.
• Shape engineering solutions and oversee multidisciplinary work streams.
