Job summary

Scopely is seeking a Director of Live Roadmap & Release Operations to join MONOPOLY GO! on a hybrid basis in Barcelona.

You will own the operational health of the live roadmap, coordinating cross‑functional teams across Product, Engineering, Live Operations, and QA to ensure reliable live releases. The role combines strategic governance with hands‑on depth in deployment pipelines, tooling, observability, and incident response, requiring strong leadership and the ability to move quickly while

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex live operations in a live-service environment.
• Proven track record owning high-frequency releases across multiple teams.
• Strong operational judgment balancing delivery speed, technical risk, and player experience.
• Technical fluency in software delivery and production environments.
• Experience partnering with Engineering on tooling and automation.
• Ability to communicate technical and risk information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating health of the live roadmap and release plans across teams.
• Establish end-to-end operating model from roadmap to post-release review.
• Lead governance for release readiness, gates, ownership, and rollback planning.
• Coordinate high-frequency live releases across Product, Engineering, Live Ops, and QA.
• Identify risks early and drive mitigation and decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve pipelines, tooling, and automation.
• Translate operational needs into clear technical requirements and priorities.
• Establish metrics on roadmap health, readiness, incidents, and time to resolution.
• Improve release workflows by reducing handoffs and increasing automation.
• Step into launches or incidents to drive cross-functional resolution.
• Lead change across teams and mentor operational leaders.
