Job summary

FairPlay Sports Media in London seeks a Director of IT to shape the technology roadmap, align security with business goals, and oversee enterprise IT, information security, and user support.

You will lead cloud and network operations, implement zero-trust IAM, and guide a multidisciplinary team while partnering with executives to reduce risk and improve service delivery. This is a global role with responsibilities spanning UK and international partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in progressive IT roles, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or directorship position.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, identity providers, MDM, network architecture and SIEM tools.
• Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, ITIL v4, PMP, or cloud-specific certifications (AWS/Azure).
• Leadership: project management, vendor negotiation, and communication skills bridging technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy across Enterprise IT, Information Security & Governance, and First-Line User Support.
• Oversee cloud environments, networks, servers, and system architecture for high availability.
• Drive security posture with IAM/MFA and zero-trust policies.
• Manage service desk leadership, SLAs, onboarding, and knowledge management.
