Job summary

A leading wildlife conservation organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Director of Fundraising and Engagement to shape campaigns and mobilize action for wildlife. The ideal candidate will lead a team of around 65 staff members, cultivate key relationships for fundraising, and contribute to the strategic direction of the Trust. Experience in senior fundraising leadership and a strategic approach to nature recovery are essential.

Overview

Senior Leadership Team role: Director of Fundraising and Engagement at Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Role to shape campaigns, supporter and visitor journeys to mobilise volunteering and community organising for wildlife and a nature-positive future.

Responsibilities
  • Shape compelling campaigns, supporter and visitor journeys across the Trust to mobilise action for wildlife.
  • Tap into fundraising potential and cultivate relationships with companies, grant funders and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Secure major strategic grant funding and corporate partnerships and develop major donor programmes.
  • Contribute to the work of an established leadership team and work with the Trustee Board.
  • Manage a Directorate of around 65 staff.
