Overview

Our client is a PE backed mid cap SaaS company seeking a Director of FPA for their Group Finance function based in London. This role targets a seasoned software finance expert in FPA, with experience shifting reporting from legacy software to a SaaS operating model. It is a time of transformation and change within a fast moving FPA environment, requiring someone who has built a world class FPA function for a business with revenues in excess of 500 million.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and shape the Group FPA function to support the CFO and drive transformation from legacy software reporting to a SaaS revenue operating model.
  • Guide senior leadership and manage stakeholders to deliver process and reporting change across the international finance team.
  • Move financial reporting platforms and data practices from a legacy model to a scalable SaaS-based model, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and strategic insight.
  • Collaborate with PE sponsors to demonstrate what good looks like from a reporting and data perspective, drawing on experience from larger, blue chip organisations.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing FPA team in a changing environment, ensuring effective governance and robust controls.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years post-qualification experience, ideally with Big 4 training.
  • Proven experience leading FPA teams in change programmes within the software/SaaS industry.
  • Background in software industry finance, currently operating in SaaS or transitioning from legacy to SaaS models.
  • London-based, available to work on site 3 days per week.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to partner with senior leadership and the CFO to drive the finance function to the next level.
