Director of Financial Control - FinTech

Location: Hybrid working (WFH + City)

Salary: £130/150k + options

Talentedge has been exclusively engaged by a market-leading FinTech company on a newly created opportunity to join their London-based finance team, overseeing the entire company's financial control functions.

Due to the company's international scale and new product launches, we are seeking an ambitious and progressive Director of Financial Control to take ownership of managing the day-to-day reporting and control functions.

Key responsibilities:

1. Continue to evolve and improve existing processes, leveraging technology to automate where possible.
2. Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts with analysis and commentaries.
3. Handle statutory reporting and tax-related work.
4. Produce investor and stakeholder reporting packs.
5. Mentor a high-performing finance team and support their growth.

Profile:

• ACA qualified with PQE within an FCA regulated environment (FinTech or Financial Services).
• Experience working in a high-volume, multicurrency environment.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience building best-in-class finance functions, including people, systems, and processes.
• Exposure to Xero and a wider ecosystem of financial apps.
