For nearly 40 years, UKSA has delivered life-changing experiences to thousands of young people from all backgrounds. Our programmes combine world-class maritime training with holistic support, including welfare services, careers guidance, and financial assistance—ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to access the sea and the opportunities it provides.

Role

We are now seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Finance to join our leadership team in a part-time capacity. This pivotal role will support the delivery of UKSA s growth ambitions and ensure our long-term financial sustainability.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Director of Finance will lead a dedicated finance team and oversee financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance monitoring. The role also includes responsibility for IT and estate planning, ensuring our resources are aligned with our mission and used effectively to maximise impact.

We are looking for a qualified finance professional with a strong track record in strategic financial leadership, team management, and organisational development. You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
