  • We are looking for a Director of Finance and Resources to join an SME charity in central London.

Our ClientMackie Myers have partnered with Wellbeing of Women on their Director of Finance and resources role. Wellbeing of Women are a grant making charity that facilitate research into women's reproductive and gynaecological health. Their research is pioneering major advances in new tests, treatments and cures, their education work is giving women and girls essential knowledge, and their campaigns are driving change where it’s desperately needed. As a flexible employer, the expectation is to be in the London Bridge office 2 days per week. The RoleWe are looking for a new Director of Finance and Resources to replace the outgoing postholder. Your key areas of responsibility will be:
  • Leading on year end, budgeting, forecasting and supporting the organisations 5yrs financial strategy. You will be supported by your Finance Manager.
  • Lead on risk management for the charity and have oversight of IT, HR and facilities.
  • Support the CEO by taking ownership over your business areas and ensuring its smooth operation.
Main Duties
  • Lead the finance function and deliver the budgets, forecast and year end accounts
  • Manage 2 members of staff
  • Oversight of IT, HR and Governance.
  • Member of the audit and risk committee
  • Present and report to the board on a quarterly basis.
The Successful CandidateThe successful candidate has experience of managing a finance team in an SME charity and has ideally reported into the Chief Executive previously. You will have had some exposure to managing functions beyond pure finance; governance would be highly advantageous. Your will be proactive and have strong communication skills. What’s on offer?
