Job Description
- Lead and serve as the Head of Finance and Controllership for the Americas region.
- Provide executive leadership in the evaluation of strategic financial objectives and offer recommendations to improve financial performance and business opportunities.
- Lead FP&A business partnering, including reporting and planning for the region (AOP and STRAP), working closely with the Americas President.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for the region.
- Report on customer profitability and analyze performance results and variances versus budgets to executive management.
- Participate actively in Executive Management Team meetings, providing updates on financials and other responsibilities.
- Guide and mentor the Supply Chain finance teams, collaborating with Operations and Supply Chain leadership.
- Implement process improvements and controls, managing standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis.
- Review business performance, variances to budgets, reforecasting, and past performance.
- Partner with Global FP&A to review operational costs and SG&A.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and maintain internal controls for all legal entities.
- Prepare the annual 3-year and 5-year business plans.
- Oversee tax and compliance activities, working closely with tax and treasury teams on complex transactions.
- Develop and evaluate personnel, building a strong accounting and finance team that drives performance and skill development.
- Travel 25-35% as needed within the Americas region.
