Job Description Summary:
We're after a strategic leader in the gaming/gambling industry to drive growth across PayPal's top UK/EMEA enterprise clients. Reporting to the Senior Director, you'll head up a team focused on increasing revenue, reducing churn, and strengthening key relationships through smart account strategy and contract negotiations.
This role calls for a proven track record in solution selling and senior stakeholder engagement. Part strategist, part player/coach-all about delivering impact.

This role focuses on expanding and strengthening strategic commercial partnerships. You'll lead a team driving overall strategy, commercial targets, and a pipeline of value-based opportunities. Success means deepening executive relationships, increasing adoption of PayPal's solutions, and delivering measurable growth. Ideal candidates will bring strong account leadership, strategic planning skills, and a proven track record in reducing churn and growing portfolio value.

You'll need a mix of experience across sales, product, marketing, and strategy-plus the ability to engage senior partners, think commercially and technically, and lead cross-functional teams. A working knowledge of service delivery and operations is key, along with the ability to communicate compelling value and drive innovation.

Your day-to-day

  • Lead a high-performing team to grow strategic partnerships and drive revenue across PayPal's largest enterprise accounts in our High Risk verticals including the gaming industry
  • Identify and deliver cross-sell/upsell opportunities, co-marketing initiatives, and joint solutions that align with partner and customer needs.
  • Build strong relationships with C-level stakeholders and clearly articulate PayPal's value proposition.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts that deliver long-term value.
  • Collaborate and influence across global PayPal teams-including product, tech, legal, risk, marketing, and operations-to deliver results.
  • Manage a strong sales pipeline, influence internal roadmaps, and drive effective resource allocation.
  • Act as the voice of the customer-sharing insights, shaping go-to-market strategies, and informing product innovation.
  • Understand and design integrated payment solutions across mobile, e-commerce, POS, and processing platforms.
  • Promote checkout optimisation strategies to increase PayPal adoption and visibility.
  • Deliver business reviews to senior leadership and key partners.
  • Lead with integrity, excellent communication, and a clear bias for action.

What do you need to bring
  • Leverage extensive complex High Risk vertical expertise and relationships to inform development of novel industry-aligned solutions
  • Inject operational aptitude into the organization. Create opportunities and growth with the correct processes and supporting activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leaders and built support from stakeholders across the business
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus or equivalent.
  • 10+ years in enterprise business development or account management, ideally in payments or fintech.
  • Proven experience leading high-performing commercial or partnership teams.
  • Strong financial, strategic, and technical acumen with the ability to engage both execs and engineers.
  • Skilled in negotiating complex contracts and crafting joint value propositions.
  • Excellent communicator with top-tier presentation skills and the ability to influence across a matrixed org.
  • Relationship-driven with a consultative, results-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable working globally and adapting to different cultural business practices.
  • Willing to travel 25-50%.
