Barnsley Council is seeking an exceptional leader to Head of Economic Development, shaping the borough’s regeneration and growth agenda. You’ll oversee major projects, investments and plans including Tech Town and The Seam Digital Campus, driving sustainable employment and housing opportunities across the district.

You’ll collaborate with partners, investors and government to deliver outcomes, manage budgets and deliver bold visions for Barnsley’s future.

Competenze

Experience in economic development, regeneration and management.
Strong financial and performance management capabilities.
Experience working within a political environment.
Deep knowledge of legislation and sector challenges.
Inspirational leadership and strategic decision-making skills.
Experience delivering major projects and partnerships.
