Job summary

Greenwich Giving is seeking an experienced third sector professional to develop and start implementing their approach to longer-term financial sustainability. This freelance role is 14 hours per week, based in a hybrid setting in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, with a day rate of £300–£400 and an initial term of 6 months.

Start date is as soon as possible; the post reports to the Greenwich Giving Board and is hosted by Funders Together to grow income and build a sustainable model for Greenwich

Qualifications

• Experience in the third sector or non-profit fundraising/financial sustainability.
• Ability to develop and start implementing sustainability strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop the sustainability approach for Greenwich Giving.
• Lead early-stage implementation and collaborate with stakeholders.

Job description

• Hours: 14 hours or 2 days per week. Hours could be split differently across the week by arrangement.
• Salary: £300 - 400 day rate, dependent on experience.
• Contract: Freelance contract, with initial term of 6 months, with the possibility to extend.
• Reports to: Greenwich Giving Board.
• Employer: Funders Together, as fiscal host of Greenwich Giving.
• Location: Hybrid: Royal Borough of Greenwich / work from home.
• Start date: As soon as possible.

Greenwich Giving is a place-based giving scheme in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. It was funded for a three-year pilot by City Bridge Foundation and is in the final year of its pilot phase. It is now hosted by Funders Together and looking to build on the pilot: growing its income, reaching more communities and developing a model that can sustain itself in the long term.
