Job summary

InfoSec People Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior Cyber Defence Engineering leader to shape and drive a highly skilled team responsible for detection, automation and endpoint security. You will own the strategy, roadmap and evolution of the cyber defence technology stack while leading detection engineering, EDR, threat hunting and security automation across enterprise-scale cloud environments.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with significant investment in security

Qualifications

• Experience leading cyber security engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on with Defender XDR, Sentinel, and CrowdStrike.
• Proven ability to implement security automation using SOAR/Logic Apps.
• Experience operating within enterprise-scale cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Security Engineers, Detection Engineers and Automation Specialists.
• Own the Cyber Defence Engineering roadmap and strategy.
• Drive Detection-as-Code and CI/CD adoption.
• Lead engineering initiatives across Defender XDR, Sentinel and CrowdStrike Falcon.
• Enhance detection coverage and threat hunting capabilities.
• Deliver automation solutions to improve operations.
• Serve as senior technical authority for cyber defence technologies.
• Manage vendor relationships and security technology investments.
