About the Role

As a Director of Credit investments based in London, you will play a key leadership role in our origination team, with a primary focus on the European market. You will lead commercial opportunities from initial sourcing through to final execution, working closely with our global team. In this client-facing position, you will be responsible for originating new business, cultivating and managing client relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Client Sourcing & Deal Generation: Identify and engage prospective clients (companies) to generate a steady pipeline of investment opportunities
  • Initial Screening: Conduct preliminary assessments, including calls and meetings with C-suite executives, to evaluate potential clients.
  • Coordination & Communication: Act as a key liaison between prospective clients and the investment team, ensuring seamless due diligence and execution of transactions.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with sponsors and key stakeholders
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Negotiation and closing: Lead the negotiation process with prospective clients up to the closing stage.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience at a top-tier financial institution with a focus on investments: Debt/Credit provider, Venture Capital, Debt Advisory
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a client-facing roles: origination, relationship management, sponsors coverage
  • Proven track record in sourcing and closing debt/equity transactions
  • Drive, ambition, and an ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • At least two years of previous experience as a financial analyst- Must Have
  • Experience in and understanding of the growth-stage tech landscape
