Our Property

An exclusive sanctuary where London's storied past meets modern British life, this location is part of European Auberge Resorts, including properties in Florence, Geneva, Santorini, and the French countryside. Developed by the Reuben brothers, this project is nestled between Green Park and Shepherd Market, blending retreat and gathering spaces with buzzy food and beverage options and stunning design led by Europe's top architects and interior designers.

This Georgian mansion and Grade 1-listed Palladian-style townhouse are being transformed into a 102-room hotel, preserving its heritage while offering London's most desirable restaurants, bars, spa, and private members' club, attuned to modern London life.

Role Summary

The Director of Communications will be pivotal in our European expansion, helping establish Cambridge House as London's most anticipated hotel. Responsibilities include developing and executing marketing and PR strategies, driving social media, digital, and e-commerce efforts, and creating buzz locally and nationally. The role also involves identifying partnerships, sponsorships, and supporting the development of unique experiences.

The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic thinker with a proven track record in brand building, campaign management, and effective communications. Collaboration with hotel teams and cross-functional departments is essential. The candidate should thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, be highly self-motivated, and adapt quickly to new systems and priorities.

Core Responsibilities
  • Drive awareness and revenue for new hotel openings, including rooms, F&B, spa, and experiences.
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to enhance brand visibility and meet business goals.
  • Coordinate pre-opening marketing efforts with senior leadership.
  • Create engaging content for digital, social media, press releases, and internal communications.
  • Develop property collateral that tells a compelling story.
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns.
  • Build relationships with media outlets, influencers, and local stakeholders.
  • Support digital marketing asset development and collaborate with the digital team.
  • Create unique experiences and partnerships during pre-opening phases.
  • Assist in onboarding sales, marketing, and cultural teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Over 10 years of experience in luxury or design sectors, with expertise in marketing, social media, or PR.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, or communications.
  • Proven success in senior marketing and communications roles with successful campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of luxury style and nuance to build distinctive brands.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and align marketing with business objectives.
  • Curious, resourceful, and a skilled multi-tasker who proactively finds solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
