  • Drive the strategic planning, performance, risk management, and improvement of delegated services, ensuring they are high-quality, affordable, and outcome focused.
  • Shape and implement the NWJCC’s Commissioning Framework, ensuring services are commissioned effectively and consistently.
  • Provide leadership and support to national and regional commissioning groups, strategic networks, and clinical forums across NHS Wales.
  • Support the Chief Commissioner as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, deputise when required, and act as a trusted advisor to the JCC’s Chair and committee members.

About You

  • Proven experience in commissioning or strategic service leadership within health or care systems.
  • Deep understanding of the mental health, learning disability, and vulnerable groups landscape.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work across organisational boundaries and influence at senior levels.

This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of commissioning in Wales and improve outcomes for some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

If you’re ready to lead with purpose, impact, and compassion we’d love to hear from you.
