Job Description
As a Director of APAC Business Development, your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with team members to drive the end-to-end sales process for asset management and risk solutions products to institutional clients.
- Address and resolve inquiries from prospects and clients.
- Develop and prepare presentation materials, product proposals, and responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals).
- Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill client requests and ensure seamless service delivery.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Director of APAC Business Development should have:
- Educational background in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Around 12 years of experience in the financial industry ideally from placement agency with track record in fundraising
- Experience of selling / knowledge of alternative assets preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and quality control, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
· Client-focused mindset with the ability to understand and anticipate client needs.
· Flexibility to work overtime when necessary to achieve business objectives. - Fluency in Mandarin and English is required; proficiency in Cantonese is a plus.
