Lenovo Solutions & Services Group is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineering Director to lead a team of FDEs embedded across business functions, delivering AI-powered solutions and measurable business outcomes. You will shape delivery, define operating models, and establish scalable engineering standards.

You'll partner with business leaders, translate challenges into scalable technology, and drive rapid prototyping with strong engineering discipline.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or applied AI.
• Experience leading high-performing technical teams delivering AI, automation, or intelligent workflow solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong engineering judgment to review architectures and guide technical decisions.
• Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable technology solutions.
• Proven ability to define operating models, delivery frameworks, and talent development practices.
• Professional-level English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Forward Deployed Engineers embedded across business functions, supporting delivery, growth, and performance excellence.
• Partner with Domain Leaders to map workflows and identify high-value AI opportunities.
• Guide teams in delivering AI solutions using Microsoft AI and related platforms.
• Establish delivery methodologies, standards, governance, and quality expectations for the FDE organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove delivery blockers and accelerate adoption.
• Communicate progress, risks, and business impact to executive audiences.
