Job description

1 Stop Healthcare are recruiting for a Director of Adult Services to join a well-established organisation based in Colchester on a full-time, permanent basis. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company’s strategic objectives are met, implement and maintain quality assurance programmes, and deliver further development.

Responsibilities:

• Taking a strategic and thoughtful approach to make sure new methods are put into practice.
• Managing day-to-day operations and overseeing the performance of the services.
• Working with the CEO and FD to ensure the services are operating in line run within budget.
• Ensuring all safeguarding policies and procedures are up to date and explained to staff.
• Looking for opportunities to grow and improve our services by carrying out research and putting them into action.
• Promoting and checking the organisations valued are followed.
• Take the lead in managing contracts with providers.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Level 5 Diploma in Management, or working towards.
• Leadership/Management experience in Adult Social Care.
• Experienced in working with, and in-depth knowledge of Autism and Learning Disabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and have the ability to lead and motivate staff.
• Strong understanding of CQC.

The successful candidate must come from a management background with extensive experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
