The Director of Nursing will oversee labor and delivery, post-partum, a Level II NICU, lactation, and two OB-OR suites. The Director will oversee strategic planning, business development, clinical outcomes, quality management, and excellence in customer service. This position provides leadership and directives towards the development, implementation, and assessment of programming, policy, and procedures. This position will report to the VP of Nursing/CNE of the hospital.

Bachelor’s degree from an NLN, CCNE, or ACEN accredited school of nursing is required.
Master’s degree within five (5) years from the date of hire is required.
Three (3) or more years of progressive management/leadership experience is required.
Five (5) or more years of nursing experience is required.
Experience in maternity services is required.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana, as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is required.
Certification in a relevant specialty or nursing administration within three (3) years of hire is required.
Collaborates and builds effective relationships.
Demonstrates strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Independently resolve problems, plan strategically, and think creatively and critically.
Knowledge of best practices, processes, laws, regulations, tools, and software related to the position.
Strong analytical skills.
Able to build, motivate, and lead a high-performing team.
