About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Mining & Metals division, driving expansion within Asia-Pacific and building a global footprint. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategy and growth in mining M&A.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership : Head the Mining division, driving business development, market penetration, and global expansion, with a strong focus on Australia and Asia.
• Deal Expertise : Lead complex M&A transactions from initiation to execution, leveraging deep industry knowledge and corporate finance expertise.
• Relationship Building : Utilize your extensive network within the mining and resources sector to open doors, forge new partnerships, and secure growth opportunities.
• Strategic Insight : Work closely with the Managing Director to identify and capitalize on emerging trends in critical minerals and battery metals.
• Global Expansion : Support the growth of the Asia footprint, collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Team Development : Collaborate with the existing high-performing team to drive synergy and maximize impact.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience in Mining & Metals, with a strong track record in M&A, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Proven leadership in managing complex buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Deep industry expertise, particularly in critical minerals and battery metals.
• Existing relationships within the Australian mining sector and a track record within the Asian Mining market.
• Experience working in mining advisory firms and in-house within the mining sector.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
