Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking an Associate Director of Knowledge Management, Senior KM Counsel, to lead and develop the KM team and drive the Practice Group's KM strategy across Litigation & Tax disciplines.

Located in London or other major offices, with a potential hybrid/office presence. Ideal candidate will oversee KM activities, resourcing, and engagement with practice chairs to deliver impactful knowledge solutions.

Qualifications

• JD or its equivalent is required.
• Admission to at least one US State Bar or other jurisdiction where the firm operates.
• Progressively responsible practice management experience in legal or professional services.
• Experience as a practicing attorney with a leading international law firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise KM colleagues assigned to the Practice Group.
• Develop a framework for employing practicing lawyers in KM activities and staffing decisions.
• Distill extensive internal deal data to prepare market insights.
• Monitor deal landscape and develop materials communicating trends to leadership, clients and prospects.
• Collaborate with Technology & IS leadership to drive AI-based workflows for extraction and analysis of key provisions.
