Overview

Great opportunity to join us as a Director within our Wealth and Retail Team based out of our London office working hybrid. This is an exciting and pivotal role, as part of our newly formed GB Wealth & Retail Team in our Investments line of business. As a Director in the team, you\'ll play a leading role in driving forward our strategy, developing our value proposition, as well as growing and servicing our client base focused on the Wealth sector in GB.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving several strategic initiatives key to the long-term success of WTW’s investment business, including but limited to:

This is a Certification Function role under the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA’s) Senior Manager and Certification Regime.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth within WTW’s wealth and retail business, considering where WTW should be focusing its efforts given broader market trends and developments and WTW’s right to win
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across the wealth management industry
  • Lead efforts to distribute WTW investment solutions, consulting services and proprietary funds to wealth managers and engage in strategic partnership conversations that leverage the scale of WTW’s fiduciary investment offering more broadly for the benefit of end savers
  • Work with colleagues to launch new campaigns, identify and cultivate new strategic relationships, business opportunities and client relationships
  • Provide expert advice and support to wealth managers on fund selection and portfolio construction
  • Enhance existing client relationships to increase client retention and satisfaction
  • Actively participate in the newly established Centre of Excellence to share and disseminate global knowledge and best practices across key geographic areas of focus for WTW
  • Collaborate with international teams to leverage insights and innovations
  • Contribute to the development of training programs and resources for the team
Qualifications
  • Extensive relevant experience in asset management, investment consulting or wealth management
  • Proven track record of driving strategic and organic growth sales in the wealth management sector
  • Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets
  • Exceptional client relationship skills: ability to develop strong relationships quickly and maximize resources effectively to achieve goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
