Job description

Proven experience leading high-performing digital and social media teams to deliver innovative, data-driven content strategies and campaigns.

Deep understanding of the evolving digital ecosystem, including social platforms, content trends, and performance analytics.

Strong customer-centric mindset with a passion for creating engaging, value-driven digital experiences.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities, with a track record of influencing at senior levels.

Solid commercial awareness and ability to align digital strategies with broader business objectives.

Purpose of the role

To develop, implement, and manage digital marketing platforms and channels, including the management of the website, social media channels, and marketing technology platforms.

Accountabilities
  1. Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with the bank's business objectives, informed by market research, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, communications, and IT, to ensure alignment of digital marketing efforts.
  3. Create compelling and targeted content for various marketing channels, optimize online content for search engines, and manage paid search campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
  4. Analyze data to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies, using data analytics tools to measure and report campaign performance.
  5. Manage marketing technology platforms as applicable.
  6. Maintain and update digital marketing platforms and channels, such as websites and social media channels.
  7. Develop content for partner channels and assets, where applicable.
Director Expectations
  1. Manage a business function, contributing to strategic initiatives, policies, and procedures, and overseeing complex projects.
  2. Lead a large team or act as a technical expert, coaching less experienced staff and influencing long-term strategic decisions.
  3. Provide expert advice to senior management and committees, influencing decisions beyond the immediate function.
  4. Manage resourcing, budgeting, and policy creation for a significant sub-function.
  5. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, monitoring external environment and regulatory developments.
  6. Understand how the function integrates with the broader business to achieve objectives.
  7. Stay informed about industry practices, external market developments, and sector insights.
  8. Use analytical skills to solve complex problems and design solutions.
  9. Make strategic decisions within the area of authority.
  10. Negotiate and influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  11. Serve as a principal contact for key clients and partners.
  12. Act as a spokesperson for the function and business division.
