Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment seeks a Director to lead the University Pathways and Progression function, shaping global strategies for recognition, progression and university admissions. You will build partnerships with universities, governments and education leaders to broaden access to higher education.

This permanent, full‑time role in Cambridge offers hybrid working with international travel, a competitive salary (£85,400–£117,350) and a rewards package.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in student progression, recognition and university admissions.
• International experience in education organizations is important.
• Ability to lead and inspire large teams and influence stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with senior leaders, universities and regulatory bodies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team responsible for higher education recognition and progression worldwide.
• Create and expand pathways from school to university and other routes to work.
• Build and strengthen relationships with universities and professional bodies globally.
• Advise on development of future qualifications, courses and services with focus on progression.
• Shape Cambridge's thought leadership on progression and credential value.
• Support business development and marketing by clarifying progression opportunities for learners.
• Influence policy and contribute to education reform with governments and international partners.
• Create and nurture a global community of school-based career guidance professionals.
