Role Overview

The Director, Global Transaction Banking Product Business Analyst is a key leadership position within the Global Change Delivery team. The role involves leading the Business Analyst team, defining and evolving the Requirements Lifecycle, and supporting strategic objectives across Global Transaction Banking.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and build a high-performing, diverse global Business Analyst team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  2. Ensure high-quality development of product requirements with robust analysis, traceability, and alignment with market, client, and regulatory demands.
  3. Coordinate the discovery phase across the end-to-end value chain, considering competitor activity and client feedback.
  4. Engage proactively with cross-functional teams (sales, technology, operations, risk, compliance) to ensure cohesive delivery and stakeholder relationships globally.
  5. Maintain standards for requirements quality, governance, and control throughout the lifecycle.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the group.

Purpose of the Role

Support organizational strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and delivering solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.

Accountabilities
  • Analyze business problems and client requirements requiring change.
  • Develop business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to meet their needs.
  • Create business cases and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Support project reporting and operational/process design to ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Assist in change management activities, including traceability and embedding solutions.
