Job summary

MSD is seeking a Director for Global Clinical Supply, responsible for end-to-end management of external vendor partnerships supporting the GCS portfolio. You will shape supplier strategies, drive governance, and ensure continuity across packaging, labeling, and distribution for trials.

You will lead through influence with Procurement, Finance, Quality and other functions, delivering durable solutions, process standardization, and improved connectivity between suppliers and GCS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate pharma or similar settings.
• Minimum 5 years in clinical supply chain, packaging operations or vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP/GDP, FDA and EMEA requirements.
• Proven ability to develop innovative solutions and processes.
• Strong communication with Users, Peers and Sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Define and advance partnership objectives with external vendors and partners.
• Oversee supplier performance, risks, issues and opportunities to align with GCS priorities.
• Drive governance, transparency, and value realization across supplier relationships.
• Lead transformation, standardization, and scalable external operations.
