Director, Global Consent - Data Management, Open Banking, London
Responsibilities
- Open Banking Data Strategy: Establish a global data management strategy across Open Banking products that extends into open finance use cases.
- Establish a data model that supports:
- Consented vs. non-consented data
- Licensed vs. unlicensed use cases
- Regional and market-specific data requirements (FCRA, CDR, 1033, etc.)
- Partnerships: Collaborate across product, markets, engineering, data science, compliance, and Enterprise Data teams to deliver on business objectives and align with Mastercard's enterprise data management approach. Ensure legal and compliance alignment on data retention, minimization, and usage.
- Roadmap Execution: Define product requirements for a global data services approach, including data usage requirements for consented data and variations.
- Data Management: Own documentation, onboarding guides, and developer data specifications related to data flows and fields.
- Customer Focus: Develop data usage requirements that empower consumers and businesses to control their data and enable partners to innovate in financial services.
- Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the data services platform and promote continuous improvement.

- Proven product leader with experience launching and scaling API-driven solutions, with the ability to communicate complex concepts simply.
- Technical proficiency with systems, platforms, and API design to optimize solutions for clients and users.
- Data science experience connecting data access and rights with modeling to achieve business outcomes.
- Mission-driven with a focus on moving fast, creating value, and growing together.
- Understanding of Open Banking core use cases (account opening, payments, lending).
- Creative problem solver with the ability to connect client needs with Mastercard strategy.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong team-building skills across geographies.
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Role is not fully remote.
