Overview

Oversee the strategy and execution of the downstream distribution of Proleukin to all markets outside the US maximizing commercial success. This position will direct product flow to all wholesalers, secondary wholesalers and business entities. This position will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with business partners and new markets for product growth as well as competitive threats. The Director will align key commercial and supply chain teams to meet and/or exceed the goals and needs of the core commercial product strategy. The position will directly report to the Vice President Global Commercial and is a remote role based in the UK.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Planning – develop and execute channel strategies by identifying optimal distribution models, understanding partner needs, and adapting to evolving markets.
  • Revenue Generation - Oversee pricing and drive sales growth and profitability including forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to include rolling 6-month forecasts in all markets.
  • Oversee demand and supply with all physician and hospital purchasing customers
  • Work with Iovance ROW General Manager to ensure consistency and efficiency in commercialization activities
  • Cross functional collaboration with Medical, Legal, Quality and Regulatory counterparts (internal and external) to ensure the use of Proleukin meets requirement for release
  • Negotiation and Contract Management – Engage with Supply Chain and Trade Operations to develop and implement necessary supply/distribution wholesale agreements and ensure compliance and favorable terms.
  • Monitor existing cell therapy market for trends and novel uses of Proleukin and emerging IL-2 analogs
  • Introduce potential new customers to Iovance Business Development and Medical Affairs teams as appropriate
  • Establish Proleukin as the IL-2 of choice for cell therapy manufacture and clinical development business
  • Attendance and representation at key congresses to advance scientific knowledge

Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge

  • 10+ years of Pharma/Biotech experience working with international teams
  • Previous experience of operating across international markets including EMEA, JPAC, Canada, the Americas
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including relevant regulations, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and a proven track record of people development
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to develop key internal and external relationships that deliver on long-term business objectives
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and to deadlines and possess a sense of urgency.
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Negotiation and contract management skills
  • Right to work in the UK (must currently reside in the UK)
