Director of GCP Sales will be responsible for driving growth of Searce UK across UK & Ireland by leveraging GCP Technologies and assisting our customers. You will inspire and advocate for businesses of all sizes to adopt cloud technologies. Using your passion for technology, you will help spread the benefits of cloud computing to organizations worldwide. The vision is to establish Searce's brand as one of the world's most trusted partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of the overall go-to-market strategy, including business growth, customer and partner engagement, marketing, and demand generation plans.
  • Contribute to shaping the future of workplace technology as part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business.
  • Assist prospective customers and partners in understanding the capabilities of Google Cloud Platform, consulting on how it can help achieve their business objectives, explaining technical features, and resolving key technical issues.
  • Manage key strategic accounts across various industries throughout the UK. Work closely with clients to demonstrate the advantages of virtual machines like Compute Engine, the scalability of platform-as-a-service offerings like App Engine, and the versatility of big data and analytics solutions like BigQuery.
  • Achieve or surpass monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Relay client feedback to help refine our products, solutions, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain a client-focused approach with a strong drive to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients' industries, organizational structure, competitors, and business challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic sales professionals passionate about discovering innovative and meaningful technology solutions for customer needs.
  • Technical aptitude is essential; experience with programming, software development, or IT sales is advantageous, as is familiarity with the public cloud market.

  • Minimum of 5+ years in sales roles, preferably in front-line sales involving technology, software, SaaS, analytics, BPM, or IT products/services.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment, managing projects, multitasking, paying attention to detail, and following through.
  • Proven track record of high productivity and sales achievement.
