Our UK tax team is unique in its breadth and depth - no other firm has leading corporate tax, finance tax, real estate tax, funds tax, indirect tax, and tax litigation expertise. We advise some of the world's largest and most complex businesses, working on high-profile transactions and disputes.
We also have funds-tax specialists across Europe and in the US. Our global market-leading funds practice includes teams in the UK, US, Europe, and APAC. You would join a team of around 150 specialist tax advisers worldwide, including 7 partners, 3 Directors, and 12 associates in London.
We provide standalone tax advice and collaborate with our corporate and funds colleagues on a wide range of transactions, including fund raisings, carry structuring, fund co-investments, continuation vehicles, LP portfolio sale secondaries, GP M&A, and more. As a Counsel or Senior Associate, you will advise leading fund managers globally within a highly regarded team.
You should have strong relevant funds tax experience, likely gained at a City firm or a reputable overseas practice in a common law jurisdiction. An outstanding academic record, excellent legal skills, and a reputation for providing commercial solutions are essential. Demonstrated strong communication, analytical skills, and commercial awareness are required. You should thrive in a team environment with high standards, and have exposure to multi-jurisdictional and multidisciplinary collaboration. Business development, client management, and thought leadership skills are crucial.
From day one, you'll have opportunities to grow your skills, knowledge, and client base in a supportive environment.
