A local government authority in London seeks a Transformation Lead to drive substantial cost savings while supporting financial strategies. The candidate will collaborate with various departments to identify savings and improve service delivery. Required qualifications include a degree level education and relevant professional qualifications. Flexible working arrangements are encouraged.
As a member of both Finance and the Transformation leadership teams, this role supports the Strategic Director of Resources in achieving a sustainable financial position over the MTFS period. The successful applicant will lead the Transformation team to drive substantial cost savings and personally deliver programmes and savings in terms of price or units/demand. This is not a finance reporting nor PMO role.
As a public authority, we must ensure that members of staff in public-facing roles are able to speak fluent English with a command of spoken English sufficient for effective performance. This requirement does not refer to any particular English language qualifications or accents and does not require staff to speak only in English.
