Job summary

Chatham Financial is seeking a Director with 8+ years of experience to join our EMEA Financial Risk Advisory team focused on real estate clients. You will provide advisory services on derivatives, structure complex transactions, and lead cross-functional projects to support risk management and capital markets decisions.

You will build client relationships, deliver market insights, and mentor junior staff while contributing to the growth of our advisory practice within the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial risk advisory or related roles with derivative experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; finance focus preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives, pricing, and risk management.
• Proven ability to lead projects and teams across multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on derivative products and risk management strategies.
• Lead complex projects, coordinate with legal and risk stakeholders, and ensure compliant execution.
• Develop hedging strategies aligned with client debt portfolios and risk appetites.
• Analyze client portfolios, perform quantitative analyses, and prepare board-level briefings.
• Maintain direct client relationships, onboarding, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and drive cross-sell opportunities.
