Job Description

We're seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Planning team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Director Financial Planning to join a very high performing team with significant commercial success. You will also have the opportunity to inherit an existing client book of circa 15-20 quality clients from straightforward planning to potentially more complex work. There will be no line management duties right away, but there will be the opportunity to progress to take on some line management responsibility in the future. The Director Financial Planning is a key role, you will be the bridge between partners and practitioners.

As a Director Financial Planning your responsibilities will include among others:

• Enthusiastically build and develop on existing client relationships through effective ongoing service to help minimise attrition.
• Ensure client files are carefully maintained with client details regularly updated where needed.
• Plan, implement and execute the annual Business Plan.
• Take responsibility for supporting the growth of the business, working with the director/partner group on key commercial pillars.
• Work in partnership with Investment Management (IM) to develop client relationships.
• Build new client relationships to add to the inherited client book.
• Structure and lead client meetings ensuring all information and advice is accurate.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Hold a relevant level 4 qualification or above (ideally Level 6) and maintain an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing.
• Have experience of developing existing business and identifying new business opportunities.
• Have experience of relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
• Possess a real passion for providing a first-class service to clients.
