Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Director of Technology Risk to lead the second line build-out for digital asset risk oversight, aligning BVNK and Mastercard standards across NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and FAIR. This role requires independent challenge of risk assessments, control design and remediation in a fast-moving integration environment.

You will oversee custody models, wallet architecture, crypto risk and third-party dependencies while working with Technology Risk, Compliance and Audit to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience in technology risk, cyber risk, or second line oversight within large regulated environments.
• Ability to translate standards into practical control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Challenge First Line risk assessments, control design and remediation plans.
• Perform sample-based control validation on critical services and digital-asset infrastructure.
• Track risk acceptance and remediation status across governance forums.
• Represent Technology Risk in governance forums and coordinate with security, compliance and audit.
