McGregor Boyall is seeking a Director to lead FS Cyber Consulting within our UK Cyber Security practice. The role focuses on originating and delivering cyber security engagements for banking and insurance clients in Financial Services, and leading the FS cyber security business.

You will be accountable for delivery, drive growth in FS cyber services, and collaborate across coverage groups to execute a clear strategy while engaging in sales origination and bid activities.

The role will be working in the UK Cyber Security practice within our Technology and Data service line in Advisory. Our clients are increasingly under cyber-attack and regulatory scrutiny to demonstrate effective management of cyber risk. Our specialists provide independent, jargon free advice and advanced technical capabilities to help our clients proactively manage cyber and technology risks to drive value from their business information assets whilst protecting business.

Location: Flexible with hybrid working arragements.

£145 - 165,000 + Benefits + Bonus

Our cyber security services are defined within three capability groups:

• Cyber Risk, Strategy and Resilience
• Identity and access management (IAM) and Security Operations
• Cyber Threat Management

This is a Director role to lead our go to market approach for cyber security services with a focus on the banking and insurance sectors within Financial Services (FS). A key emphasis of the role will be on originating and leading the delivery of cyber security engagements to clients and contributing to the leadership of our FS cyber security business.

• Taking accountability for the delivery of FS cyber security engagements and leading multiple engagements on a day-to-day basis with the assistance of Senior Managers/Managers in the team.
• Being responsible for expanding our cyber security services in the FS sector.
• Providing leadership and collaborating with people across the coverage groups on the cyber security services to deliver a clear and unified strategy.
• Leading FS sales origination/business development initiatives and acting as an integral part of the broader Technology and Cyber Security leadership team.
• Contributing to the overall FS cyber security strategy by identifying where there are opportunities for growth and developing the strategy to capitalise on cyber security risk opportunities in this sector.
• Actively identifying and progressing FS business development opportunities, as well as managing sales activities such as responding to RFPs, bid management, proposal writing and client presentations.
