We are looking for a Corporate Development Director for a leading investment banking and M&A advisory firm.

Important: Please only apply if you have prior experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, and are located in or willing to relocate to the London area.

Key information:

• Years of experience: 8-12 years.
• Experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, or similar is required. Prior experience in corporate development is a strong plus.
• Strong financial skills, including advanced analytical skills and expertise in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, Comps).
• Location: London

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred

Key responsibilities:

• Origination: Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
• Deal Execution: Lead financial modeling, due diligence, valuation, transaction structuring, and post-deal integration.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and engage with senior executives, including the C-suite, to align strategies and execute deals.
• Special Projects: Support ad-hoc analysis, presentations, and initiatives; help develop scalable processes and best practices across strategic workstreams.

Note: This is a corporate development role within an investment bank, not a traditional banking role. You will help the bank identify and execute acquisition opportunities to expand its business lines, geographic reach, and capabilities.
