Gold & Aron Conseil is an executive search company, recruiting on behalf of our client.

We are looking for a Corporate Development Director for a leading investment banking and M&A advisory firm.

Important: Please only apply if you have prior experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, and are located in or willing to relocate to the London area.

Key information:

• Years of experience: 8-12 years.
• Experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, or similar roles is required. Prior experience in corporate development is a strong plus.
• Strong financial skills, including advanced analytical abilities and expertise in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, Comps).
• Location: London
• Fluent in English
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
• MBA is a plus

Key job activities include:

• Origination: Identify, evaluate, and initiate acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
• Deal Execution: Lead financial modeling, due diligence, valuation, transaction structuring, and post-deal integration.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and engage with senior executives, including the C-suite, to align strategies and execute plans.
• Special Projects: Support ad-hoc analysis, presentations, and initiatives; help develop scalable processes and best practices across strategic workstreams.

Note: This is not a banker role. It’s a corporate development position within an investment bank, focusing on identifying and executing acquisition opportunities to expand the bank’s business lines, geographic reach, and capabilities.
