About the role you are considering

Capgemini UK is seeking an exceptional leader to join as a Presales Director to focus on Consumer Products & Retail. You will lead the strategic direction and growth of services within our CPR market unit across the UK, working closely with sector leaders to drive large deals across multiple technology domains, including Cloud transformation, Application Modernisation, Data & AI, Digital Workplace, Cybersecurity, and Data Center exit.

This role requires a C-Suite influencer with proven experience in proactive deal shaping, pitch, and negotiation at CxO level, as well as responding to RFx tenders from large clients.

The position combines expertise in Consumer Products & Retail sectors with transformational technology solutions involving cloud, infrastructure, and cyber technologies.

Your role

• Achieve KPIs such as sales bookings, industry solution go-to-market, deal closure, C-Suite engagement, and solution quality.
• Grow the Cloud & Infrastructure Services business in relevant sectors in line with strategic plans.
• Lead strategic deals that span Capgemini’s portfolio and industry sectors.
• Develop propositions aligned with client business requirements.
• Build relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to develop opportunities.
• Create industry-relevant sales propositions and competitive strategies.

Your experience

• Deep understanding of Consumer Products and Retail industries and related transformations.
• Proven success in solution sales, presales, or technical sales within these sectors.
• Strong techno-functional knowledge of relevant modern technology architectures.
• Experience closing large deals profitably and leading large-scale cloud-driven transformations.
• Experience managing RFPs, ITTs, and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of market shifts, operating model transformation, and cloud solutions.
• Ability to navigate large matrixed organizations and work with executive stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of cloud providers like AWS, Microsoft, Google, and ServiceNow.
