Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Director of Technology to lead the technical sales and architecture strategy for UKI. You will guide cloud and generative AI adoption, influence go-to-market plans, and partner with customers, AWS Sales, and cross-functional teams to design scalable, resilient cloud solutions that translate technology into measurable business outcomes.

You will head a high-performing group of Solutions Architects, shape AWS's technical direction within the country

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Executive leadership experience in a technical, customer-facing role.
• Experience with cloud native applications and architectures.
• People management experience including growing technical leaders.
• Excellent communication skills with C-level executives.
• Experience in matrix organizations across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Define technology strategy aligned to AWS priorities and customer engagement.
• Lead executive customer engagements with digital transformation, AI strategy, and cloud-native architecture.
• Develop organizational leadership and talent development in Solutions Architects.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Partners to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with global teams to shape the product roadmap.
• Operate as a senior leader within the AWS UKI Leadership Team.
