You will translate clinical needs into vendor solutions and vendor capabilities into business value, ensuring alignment across departments and time zones. The role emphasizes governance forums, performance monitoring, and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Must have alliance/vendor management experience in pharma or CRO environments.
• Experience building governance frameworks and performance metrics.
• Strong ability to translate clinical needs into actionable vendor requirements.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams across geographies.
• Comfortable operating in a global matrix organization with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own AstraZeneca's clinical technology vendor partnerships across strategy, governance and performance.
• Define vendor strategy and sourcing models aligned to clinical and R&D goals.
• Design and implement governance structures, escalation paths and metrics.
• Bridge technology providers and AstraZeneca business, translating priorities clearly.
• Translate business requirements into vendor expectations and roadmap opportunities.
• Monitor vendor performance, drive continuous improvement and share learnings.
• Lead governance forums and manage risks proactively.
• Coach and develop alliance team members and drive career growth.
