Director of Clinical Operations (Fibrosis)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing clinical-stage biotech company focused on developing innovative therapies for fibrotic and inflammatory respiratory diseases. They are seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead their global Phase 2 clinical trial program.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take ownership of a pivotal Phase 2 clinical trial in progressive fibrotic lung disease, overseeing all aspects of execution.
2. Drive site engagement and patient recruitment efforts by collaborating with pulmonologists, rheumatologists, and principal investigators.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to shape clinical strategies for additional pipeline programs targeting chronic respiratory conditions.
4. Build and lead a high-performing clinical operations team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
5. Partner with the CMO and senior leadership to ensure trial milestones are achieved efficiently.

Qualifications:

1. Experienced clinical operations leader with hands-on knowledge of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF); Phase 1b/2 experience preferred.
2. Proven success in increasing site-level enrollment and accelerating patient recruitment.
3. Comfortable working in biotech startup or scale-up settings.
4. Strong team management and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
