Director of Clinical Operations (Fibrosis)

I'm partnered with a fast-growing clinical-stage biotech focused on developing innovative therapies for fibrotic and inflammatory respiratory diseases. They are seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead their global Phase 2 clinical trial program.

What You’ll Do:

1. Take ownership of a pivotal Phase 2 clinical trial in progressive fibrotic lung disease, overseeing all aspects of execution.
2. Drive site engagement and patient recruitment efforts by working closely with pulmonologists, rheumatologists, and principal investigators.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape clinical strategies for pipeline programs targeting chronic respiratory conditions.
4. Build and lead a high-performing clinical operations team in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
5. Partner with the CMO and senior leadership to ensure trial milestones are met efficiently.

Who You Are:

1. Experienced clinical operations leader with knowledge of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), preferably Phase 1b/2.
2. Proven track record of increasing site enrollment and accelerating patient recruitment.
3. Comfortable working in biotech startup or scale-up environments.
4. Skilled at managing teams and collaborating across departments.
